Bigjeeze Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 (edited) Noticed some nasty graunching noises yesterday - Had a quick look at the discs via the wheels but couldn't see anything. Took off the wheel and then realised that the inner pad was way down on the metal whilst the outer had plenty of meat. Anyway once I removed the calliper I found the sliding bolt had seized thus holding the calliper ont the disc. Took off the calliper bracket but couldn't free the bolt - Eventually had to drill the thing out. I now can't put the brakes back together until I get a new sliding bolt thingy. ( I had new discs & pads in stock ready). I havent' taken off the offside ones yet s I may have the same issue there. Looks like lots of coppa slip for me. Edited November 17, 2007 by Bigjeeze Quote

Bigjeeze Posted November 19, 2007 Author Report Posted November 19, 2007 It appears that you cannot buy the sliding bolt thingy for the calliper you have to buy the complete holder - at a mere Quote
